Tiger’s Nest

Location: Taktsang trail, Bhutan

It was built centuries ago in 1692 a holy sacred temple which stands on a cliff of 900 meters. The trek covers a distance of 6.4 km. It has always acquired its importance for its historical significance and its architectural structure. As no vehicle will take you to the monastery. Walking is only the option to wear comfortable shoes. Paradise the beauty of hills and aura of nature which fades the tiredness in seconds.

Timings- The monastery is open at two slots either 8 am to 1 pm or 2 pm to 6 pm.

Rinpung Dzong:

Location: Paro district

A giant fort surrounded with high walls takes you to the 16th century and admire Bhutanese architecture. The watchtower of Dzong is beautifully carved in wooden work. The Dzong stands the absence of steel or iron nails. Hire a taxi or bike head to this spot between 9 am to 5 pm. The Dzong welcomes you with no entry fee.

National Museum of Bhutan

To know more about Bhutan culture, plan a day to visit the museum and know its history. The museum has six floors depicting different tales from the past with beautiful paintings and art pieces. A minimum fee is charged from the visitors. It is built in famous Rinpung dzong.

Timings: Summer 9 am to 5 pm and Winters 9 am to 4 pm

The Rigsum Gompa Trek

Phobjikha Valley

Location: Wangdue Phodrang, Bhutan

Chomolhari

Location- Near Punakha
