Neenish Tart

Neenish Tart is a combination of Australian and New Zealand delicacy comprising of a sweet treat with pastry shells having a custard-like filling and their tops decorated with thin ice like coating. Each half of the pastry shell is colored differently. The usual combinations used are pink and white, brown and white, or pink and brown. The tart is found in numerous versions today like a lemon-flavored version with an added layer of raspberry jam. These Neenish Tarts are found throughout Australia.

Donug

Donug is a big chicken nugget shaped in the form of a circle that looks similar to donuts. The outer coating is of cornflakes and panko crumbs which are deep-fried. The combination is quite delicious which went through a long journey of the ship and then road trenches. These biscuits were named as “Soldier biscuits” because the outer layer of these biscuits was very tough. Anzac biscuits have become very widely known and are now served on Anzac Day.

Tim Tams are many loved biscuits in Australia made with two chocolate-malted layers which are separated by a chocolate filling and coated using melted chocolate. There are different flavors to choose from in Tim Tams. The range can be like chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry as you like it. It can be mixed with choices like red velvet, salted caramel, etc. These biscuits are sold in every cafes and bakery and people love buying these just as snacks with tea or coffee.
